Frank Montgomery Bio

Frank Montgomery is a co-founder and Chief Director of the MAD Dogs Club. He has been a competitor in the canine disc sport since him and his first dog Ebony & Ivory “Ebbie” a Dalmatian discovered it in 1993.  His pack of pooches that have graced the Disc Fields with him over these many years has accumulated many awards at Local, Regional, National and World Levels.  He could go on and on about these but they are merely dust collectors (as well as some tumbleweed!) because what drives his passion is to lend an ear or provide some advice to those in the wings of the sport. As Frank knows, this will only grow the sport and selfishly bring a smile to his face and heartfelt joy as he witnesses a team incorporate and execute a new move in their Freestyle or improve their score over the years to come.

He has worked with many competitors to help them with their quest for being the best they can be in the canine disc sport and/or cement the bond of the human companion and their best friend.  He has reached out to many clubs all along the Eastern United States and Canada in many facets of the sport. He was an integral part in creating the Can-Am Disc Dog Games which is an event that pulls together many clubs for Clinics, Camaraderie, and Competition. This is an event that should be on everyone’s radar as a must attend per Frank as it is one place that you can immediately see the fruits of your labor and have fun at the same time

Frank has work with a variety of breeds and dog temperaments/personalities, from Dalmatian, Cattledog, Aussie (both bid and small … now some tailed), and Jack Russell … just to name a few.  Just come with the right attitude, passion, and love for your canine companion and Frank will help your team reach your goals in the sport of Disc Dog.
